RayLab is an application that provides a comprehensive suite of tools for the design and simulation of optics. With its extensive features, it appeals to both learners and professionals in the field.

The basic version of RayLab offers users a wide range of capabilities:

  • 2D modeling of lenses and mirrors
  • Full control over the placement and shape of optical components
  • Flexible adjustment of aspheric surface shape parameters
  • Precise geometric ray tracing
  • Sequential and Non Sequential analysis
  • Calculation of key parameters such as Front Focal Length, Back Focal Length, and Principle Surface

  • Polarization Ray Tracing capability to analyze light polarization
  • Ray Splitting / Beam Splitter model for more complex simulations
  • Multi-Configuration Manager and animation functionality for exploring different design scenarios
  • Ability to perform optimizations of design parameters for improved performance
  • Ray Transfer Matrix calculation for precise analysis
  • Inclusion of various commercial glass catalogs for accurate material selection
  • Zemax Importer for seamless integration with existing designs
  • Multiple Analysis Windows, including Fan Ray Diagram, Wavefront Error Plot, Grid Distortion Plot, Spot Diagram, Chromatic Aberration, Gaussian Spot Size, and Polarization Analyzer

  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same monthly price as the original subscription.
  • You can manage your subscriptions and disable auto-renewal by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
  • Cancellation of the current subscription is not allowed during an active subscription period.
